Nak Union Union Behavioral Health was designed with the recovering addict in mind. We offer a client centered recovery approach. Engaging the clients in their recovery process and having them assume responsibility for their behavior are the key components to our model of care. Our recovery model is somewhat comprehensive because we integrate behavior modification, spiritual development and community reintegration. Each client is treated as an individual but also as member of the group.
We offer separate residences for men and women and some patients attend the outpatient clinic. Each is a long term supportive, alcohol and substance free recovery community. Each community is a primary support system for 10 to 15 clients. Each site has a Coordinator who is a Counselor, a Certified Addiction Counselor or a Specialist on the road to Recovery.
At Nak Union Union Behavioral Health Enhancement Program we believe our main goal is to offer a clean and sober living community where the recovering addict can develop and practice the skills needed to:
- Live a clean and sober life
- Maximize quality of life
- Improve socialization
- Reintegrate into the community with purposeful activities
